Denny, I can't wait to get downtown. The paper said today that there should be about 100,000 or more people from out of state here. I was worried at first there might not be enough people to fill the arena for the weigh ins. Now I fear I might not be able to get in. I also want to get to the other events as i am off next saturday and sunday. I got the monkey bouncing up and down all over the place. He heard there will be a lot of bargins. The locks will have times set aside in the morning and afternoons for the anglers to pass through. These guys are pros they should catch heavier bags than 5 lbs. There was one diver who recently said he saw 5lb. plus bass under a dock in Pittsburgh. If I can catch a few 1 and 2 lb bass from shore almost any day these guys should do ok. It's goin to rock around here next weekend.

I don't really care who wins as long as it isn't Ike. I wouldn't be surprised if a relatively unknown angler pulls ahead and whomps everybody else. It sounds like mos people are having a hard time in the prefish, so I wouldn't be surprised if some local that knew the area better than anyone won.

I'd like to see Gary Klein win it. He has been snakebit a couple of times, is a class act, and is due. Spare me from having to listen to Ike squeal over a 14 inch bank runner.

I would like to see Ed Cowen who won the Bass Federation win it in the name of Bryan Kerchel ( I think I got it right)

Thanks, fishie-I could not remember the guy's name-I think that is correct. He is another one I would be happy to see win the classic.

I think I will win ......... One problem I have yet to solve in my game strategy is how I am going to cast 1,500 miles with pin-point accuracy.
Hmmmmm say do you think you can use a cruise missle? oh well guess I will probably be out of the running for this year too. I am hopeing for some poor shmuck to fall out of a boat and then go on to win it. but seriously I think IKE is going to walk sad this year and Ed will go on to win but hey I just watch it because it beats the %#&$ out of watching golf.
