I really want to go fishing
I just have a problem of not enjoying it if I am too cold. I miss the days when I did not get cold easily. In the South we should not spent 3 or 4 days where it never gets above 32 and the wind blows every day.

As far as Michigan goes, there's nothing great about it. Some day, I'd like to be living in Missourah

Yeah that would suck. I don't know how you guys handle the cold up there. Anything under 50 is to cold for me.

For me, 50 is pretty good working weather. Mid 70s is where I would like it to be year round

If it was mid 70s year around I would lose my job cause I couldn't get off the lake.

It gets even more ridiculous just across the Alabama/Tennessee border. We havent seen a whole day of sunshine or above 25degree days till yesterday for about two weeks. Our ponds are about 4.5"-5" thick with ice... And many small streams actually froze solid. Plus J. Percy Priest lake is just about covered, in spots, with ice. Hasn't been this cold around here for this long in about a decade or longer.

Difficult to work up much sympathy for you fellas... Jealousy yes, sympathy no. Few places get more snow than Central NY. Ask Bender how he is enjoying his winter up this way..

I would really like to go fishing, but school is just about taking up every last second of my time. (I am actually turning stuff in through my schools website as I am typing this). But, just because I haven't been able to get on the water my cousin goes and shows that you can in fact catch hawgs in the winter time. Only bite he had in a full three hours of fishing, which is really rare for us. Take note of the non-straight arm. Also an interesting fact about this fish is that she had a leech attached to her that was twice as long as she is.
