Default How much?

Hey guys, I posted this in the wrong section earlier, so I'm posting it here.
just wanted to know what you might think this boat is worth? I took it out Sat. and it had a good dry ride, got on plane well, got it up to about 54 on the speedo ( not sure it's right). I crawled under it and not even a scuff mark.
The boat is rated for a 130, do you think its under powered with a 115? its a 2000 277 F/S 17'

If it got on plane well and you are happy with the speed regardless in speedo in right or wrong then it is not underpowered for your application In my oppinion.

i agree with boater. and hey, you're gonna have little ones with you...don't wanna have too much poer just now. if one falls out it can and would really hurt them. so i say go for it. buy it. i couldn't tell you what it is worth. go to boat trader .com and check out compareable boats and their prices.

Seems a little under powered for the ski part of the F/S. If you are buying it for a fishing boat then you'll be very limited in deck space (rods, etc.) and see what else is out there.

If it's the only way the wife will let you get a boat then buy it !!!! Be a little cautious with the motor. Have that checked out first. Sprint boats do last a long time. A lot of them from the 80's still going strong around here.

3D prettty well summed it up. That motor is a VERY strong engine and with a couple of LASER tricks she will flat run like a raped ape. Get a compression check and make sure you see no signs of over heating such as melted plugins etc etc and the plugs look at them. If they are the right color motor should be fine. The sprint ia really a fine boat.
