i really want a boat and BassMasters dad has a truck. we are probabley going to get a jon boat in the 10 to 12 foot size and split the price so i pay half and he pays half. it doesnt neccacerily have to be new. his neighbor has one that we might can use some time next year. i was wondering if the jon boats sold in bass pro shop's catalog come with trailers and if not, what other small boat do you recomend in the $500-$700 price range. thanks!

Stay away from some of the lesser known boats. Sears used to make one that was 11ft that one person could throw around real easy. I bought one for pond jumping and let me tell you it was a night mare. Fell outta the boat several times cause it was so light. Look in your local penny pincher paper and you should be able to find the boat you are looking for. Where are you located at.
