				 | Record Largemouth Bass caught in Florida Lake!!!

Well, it's my record smallest largemouth ever caught on a lure. I was deep cranking a drop off in a small lake in Sarasota and this thing actually hit my #9 silver/black shadrap! It was hooked in the lip! The lure was bigger than him! Got my girlfriend to hold it up for a picture. I'm still amazed that this fish hit my lure.

rrw4258- She's not quite that big, probably closer to 4. She was quickly photographed and released so other fisherman can enjoy the fight she gave me (lol). Super Fluke- She must've just spawned out otherwise mighta gone 6 oz. Keithdog- Good thing my hooks were razor sharp, otherwise she would have thrown the bait. JRL- This fish was strong. Almost popped my 14 pound Trilene. Bubba- My last one this size was a real shad, but it was accidently snagged when reeling through a school of 'em, not caught in the lip like this bass. Oh well, hope everyone gets a laugh outta this pots.

I'd a mounted it if I could stretch it to 14". Kinda hard to make a 4" stretch that far.

I once caught one about that size on a red shad Super fluke. It never even got close to the hook-his teeth got caught up in the plastic.

This thing had a chance in the May-June largemouth tournament. The winning largemouth was .36 lbs? We need to get some better competition than that. I am kicking myself in the a$$ right now because i didnt use my camera. I figured the winner would at least be 6 lbs.
