Default Rainy Sunday Report

As I drove to the dock worried about rain and magical eltro bolts from the sky. A thousand worries invaded my mind and as I turned the corner I saw a full bloom dogwood standing boldly among much bigger trees. Dogwoods to me are the second hint that spring has really sprung. No worries.
Sure it rained but we caught fish and had a good trip for all.

Final tally not to bad...

Cracklin' started here at 3 AM and they came and went throughout the morning. I had plans to fish a 500+ acre private pond today but "the feast is ruined". So here I sit, broken hearted,....

Didn't need to with the winds blowing the way they were. One tornado was sighted yesterday here in VA and one touched down in Waldorf, MD. Might not have been the safest day to be on the water.

The one in VA was seen by a couple police officers in King George Co. It never touched down.

E - sounds like you have a mess from your other post. Sorry to hear about the damage. Probably keep you off the water for a weekend or two to get things cleaned up.

I'm still fishing the Chic/James tournament this Sat. I'll have most of the smaller stuff up by then. It's the big stuff that will take some time. I'm lucky though because several friends and church members have offered to help me clean up! They will be a huge help!!! Ins. people are coming tomorrow.

Sorry Capt. Mike.... I didn't mean to steal this thread with my issues!!!!

Now there is some great eattin Mike. Nice catch. I'll take a dozen of those beauties myself. Up here where I'm at, when the forsythias, and dogwoods bloom, spring is finally here too, BUT...despite the fact that those are in bloom here now, they are forecasting snow again tonight and tomorrow mixed with cold rain. UGH Old man winter refuses to let spring come for good here. What a crazy year. And it's almost may!
