				 | The old dirty sock

Many years ago I had a father and son charter. Weather was rainy to downright deluge.. We fished an area that I have been really nailing them for the past four days. But the front came in and the fish shut down. Two hours of heavy rain and no fish no bumps. Finally the rain let up and they still did not bite. Three hours now and I starting to get concerned. The son sits down and peels off his wet sneakers and socks. And just by accident wrings out the sock on his Zoom lizard. I see it and offer to put on another fresh one on for him. His Dad starts into a story about how bad his sons feet stink and how his mom hates to even touch his socks. The young man admits that wears the same lucky socks in all his basketball games and it is bad luck to wash them. And then the young man just casts right out before I can change his bait. You guessed it BAM a 5 lg LGMouth nails his bait. 6 fish later dad grabs the other sock and wrings it out over his bait frustrated. We got 36 LGMouth that day and had to wet the socks many times.. Wish I had a bucket that day to catch the dirty sock water. Capt Mike

Good thing he does not have the same typo issues as Bama. Sock could easily be misstyped as Sock or.....any other ideas Bama?

After a while, you realize that the story is the story. Whether or not it really happened, or whether or not I have caught 42,125 bass so far this year is irrelevent if you get a kick out of the telling of the tale. Cass has a dirty mind.
