Spring
i think i might be heading out later today, maybe tomorrow. its getting warmer alot this week....like, i had a snow day on mohday, and its goin up to 68 today i think. the lake im fishin at has a couple of docks, a gravelly bottom, and i dont think that there is too much cover. the boat rentals arent open yet, so i'll be on the shore. any ideas on what i should use?

Jig, on the grass lines and lay downs, spinnerbait willow or Colorado depending on water clarity, stop and go restive with it. suspending jerk bait -jerk, jerk, jerk, wait 10 seconds, than jerk again- Also try a shaky head wacky rig.

Right on with the spinnerbait i would also try throwing a crank or a pnj .

If you can get out on one of those docks, dropshot. Cast it out as far as you can, and SLOWLY work it back. Also try the shaky head.

I like strike kings RedFish magic in the early spring. This 1/zoz. bait has alittle spinner on it. When it spins it holds to the bottom really well. I took an opertunity to make up my version of that spinner.
