MB...you win the "Who I Wouldn't Mind Drinking a Beer With Award" looking forward to doing some of that around the campfire at the "Get Together" it's gonna be a blast!

CCbass...after I find some of those bass feeding on those balls of baitfish I'll try fishin a deeper diving crank to see if any of those bigger bass are staged beneath the feeding frenzy looking for an easy meal.

Ok, just my thoughts on this matter. If it was me I would have found a long point with some chunk rock and/or pea gravel on it and threw a 1/2 oz football jig with a crawpappy in pumpkinseed or watermelon if clearer water/ darker colors if stained. Casting diagonally across the point into the wind. If the jig wasn't getting any attention from the smallies then I would try either a tube or the jerk shad.

Any long points put you smack dab in the middle of the wind, making it very hard to fish any bait. My technique and the winning technique both found the best way to deal with the heavy wind, and still catch fish.

15-25 seem like average conditions here in Texas try all that in standing timber that is mostly broken off at the water line from the constant 15-25mph winds
