i'm sorry 1/4 stick but i don't think that was very smart or sporting. he could get killed doing something like that. and the fact that younger kids can see this.............. oh well. maybe i am just getting old, lol.

I just saw that on one of the news shows. While I am sure it is a rush, not something I am eager to do. Heck I got nervous when the Fonze was going to jump the sharks. How is that for old guys. If you recognize the name, or remember the show from anything other than a repeat, yep, you are old like me.

Yep, I remember the fonz. How's this for ya? I remember when Al was played by Mr. Miyagi. Sorry Bama, I posted it because I thought it was stupid to do such a thing. Never crossed my mind that somebody might rent a chopper to a kid and allow them to jump out to wrestle a fish under normal circumstances.

that's ok, stick. i ain't mad at cha pal. it is just that in my opion things like this are what is wrong with us today. everywhere we go, everything we see is just truly an insult to our intellect. not everything....shouldn't have said that. but a lot of things are to me. like some of the commercials on the tube today. and some of the movies too. i mean, just HOW many friday the 13th's can we make? nayway.......i guess i am just tired of stupidty for the sake of stupidty. sorry if i am not making any sense with this. had a bad day today i guess is the excuse.

I'm with you on the stupidity thing relating to movies and commercials. But this was kinda sweet. I mean the man jumped on a marlin..... I'm sure anyone who hunts has at least entertained the thought of coming down on a deer, and this dude brought it to the fishing arena. Not trying to start an argument, I just have a different opinion. That's a pretty cool story to be able to tell down the road, and nobody got hurt....

Oh I agree with you to an extent bama. But there's a responsabilty that rests on parents to teach their kids not to do everything they see someone else do too. Just my opinion mind you. There are other things I think should be banned for the very reason you are speaking of. Shows like surviver that make kids think it's a peice of cake to be dropped off in the middle of nowhere and if anything happens a chopper will be there instantly to rescue them. Or a video game that came to my attention the other day that kids are swapping back and forth. It simulates (to keep it clean) assaulting women. There needs to be something done about that stuff, but as it stands the people selling it aren't breaking any laws.
