And now on to the question you asked. I don't flip/pitch much, but when I do, I use jigs, Chigger Craws, Rage Tail Craws, and Brush Hog type creature baits. A lot of guys have really good luck with Beaver type creature baits, but I don't have a lot of confidence in them, so I don't fish them a lot... or ever... lol. BB

Beautiful bass Dan. I love to flip as well. Just learned it a couple years ago and am I glad I did. I love both Beaver baits and Peca Craws. I also pitch 1/2oz - 3/4oz jigs with craw trailers in the lilly pads with very good results.

Hello Committed to Flippin and Pitching Craws along the lillley pads in a series of canals at the end of my lake in Michigan. Frequently landed 3 to 4 pound and an occasional 5 lber. For me and living in Michigan, had my best season. Yo-Mammas- Beavers- and Culprit water beatles worked very well for me. Now that winter is here.....sigh......I plan to pour some of my own craws. Keep the hog pics comming. Wish I lived in FLA. M |
