Hi all. I'm a fisherman from southern MN, and have only seriously fished for bass for a couple years. Before that, i was happy to get anything on the hook. With the help of this site, and others like it, I would now consider myself at an intermediate level, a far cry from pro, but I'm no longer carrying a 5'6" ultra lite spincast setup in search of bass either. I'm always on the lookout for new information that can make me a more successful fisherman, and I think that I can help out newcomers to avoid some of the mistakes I've made as well. I look forward to getting involved in this forum, and appreciate that I have yet to see any disrespect or condescension between the experienced guys and newbies on this board that is prevalent on other similar forums. I've still got a few months of hard water before I can get back out, so until then look for me here, learning and sharing. |

Hey MN B M, welcome to the site! I'm from your neck of the woods (Owatonna), but I do almost all my fishing about 250 miles NW of here where we have a place on a lake. Hope you enjoy the site and learn as much here as I have. |

Damn, I'd love to be that close to Cabela's all the time. As it is I make it over once or twice a month, depending on what I can talk myself into buying or looking at.

I was just over there a couple weeks ago. I wanted to take a look at the Falcon Bucoo and the Tessera rods. They're on the website, but of course they weren't at the store. Next time you're there, wanna let me know if they have any in?
