				 | Heard of these?

Hey guys, I was recently given a bag of flukes. Half of them are zooms, however the others I have never seen before. They are in a watermelon red flake with a pearl belly. They have a long tail with a small paddle at the end. They have the name "Charlie's" written on the top, but I have not been able to find anything online about the. They look pretty nice, and I can't wait to give them a try. Anyone heard of them?

Bein in FL, I would say it is a saltwater lure made by one of the hundreds of small local lure makers inthe state somewhere...

Could be an old discontinued bait. I used to have some Charlie's worms, caught a bunch of fish on them.. can't find them any where now!

Yeah, I think they are a local company. I know Roland Martin's (I think it's his) charter shop on lake Okee has got 'em.

I just took these for you guys. I did my best to bring out the printing on the back of it. I fish worms of a similar color and do well. I am thinking it should work with these too. Maybe I can try and get some reds too if they are made for saltwater

I've used them, they have been around for a few years. They are called Charlies Twitchin Shad. They are made for bass, and distributed mostly around Florida. They work like a fluke, but the little tail paddles a wee bit for a different look. Good lure. Edit; I did a google search and they might have been discontinued. If so, its a real shame. |

It looks like a cross between a fluke and a swimbait. Just like Zooms new Swimmin fluke. You can try the swimmin flukes if you want John. Almost the same thing. I beleive they have that color too. go to www.tacklewarehouse.com to find em
