I am not Island Bass but this song is awesome. A while back I posted it for a member that is a new daddy. From a fathers perspective this song sure puts a lump in your throat and to anyone who doesn't have kids I can only imagine how lame the song must seem lol.

Awsome song! I don't have a daughter, but do have two boys. Boy that song says a lot and if it don't put a limp in your throat you need a therapists.

Cass,
I don't have much exposure to country music, but that was a great song. That's for showing me this. I related to a lot that was in the song. My daughter also started with a barbie/princess pole. She's now 11 and still likes to fish. Now I'm going to have to learn to play that song! Thanks for sharing this. -ib PS. I just saw this today or I would have definitely responded much earlier.
