New best for this year
 4lb 13 oz Caught her on a firetiger jerkbait in about 3 feet of water. It was also my first time ever using a jerkbait!

It was in the mid to high 40s when I caught her. I'm sure that's not cold to alot of you but I was wearing 2 shirts and an LL Bean jacket with 3 layers and insulated boots.

it should be a crime to allow such photos of caught fish to be shown to northern state folks this time of year. It makes cabin fever worse!
  Joking aside, that is a nice fish. Fishing from the shore in my neck of the woods, while I do it when I can this time of year is usually a 0% chance. And if it is 40 degrees here, I'm in a T-shirt and shorts.

Very nice fish! Jerkbaits can be very productive at times, especially in colder water and for me under cold fronts.
