A day at the local newspaper

Friend of mine works at the local paper as an editer.
When short handed he'll do what ever task needs to be done. Yesterday he was filling in for the gentleman who takes care of the local obituaries.
Marque, he actually legally had a name change done from Mark to Marque, He's kind of 'phuqueing' nuts,

but thats beside the point.

So a lady comes in and tells him that her husband passed and she wanted to list it in the paper.
So my friend ask what she wanted printed and she replied, "Bruce's dead". So Marque, kind of surprised, said, "Thats it, 'Bruce's dead' ?". "There's surely something else you'd like to share about Bruce." If it's the money that concerns you the first five words are free. There must be something we can say about Bruce."
So after a kind of lengthy pause the young lady asked, "Out of curiousity, what do you charge for want ads?" Which Marque said the charge was usually $25."
Again after a short few minute pause, the lady said, "Ok, you put, 'Bruce's dead, BOAT for SALE!"

z....the whole thing is a joke buddy. the lady is a myth, the dead hubby is a myth, the boat is a myth. the entire thing is a joke....or at least i hope it is, hahha!

I knew that and it's a good one. The other part is what I don't get and I really don't want to. Think I am going to stick to the fishing part of this show.

It's a Triton TR21-DC, yammie 225 HP, 101# Minkota, 3 new AGM t/m batteries and new MinnKota 3-bank charger (30a). I'm not dead yet, but thanks for the warning...........
Oh, she'll probably give you a great deal on some prime rod/reels too.................

Just to help you Z521Bass, I'm reasonable sure the humor wasn't aimed at you rather another angler that the two of you were also interested in another purchase and I believe in the end he got it.

I am fine, I knew it was a joke and I was bing sarcastic. It was what NFE said I was guessing was an inside joke. Don't worry about offending me, it's not possible.
