Cheap St Croixs' at Gander MT.
I stopped at Gander Mt today to check things out. They had a half dozen or so St Croix Premier rods deeply discounted down to around $40.00. They were marked down to $79 and had those green tag 50% off stickers on them. I didn't buy any because I didn't need what they had. I'll have to check out a few other stores around here. That's a hard deal to pass up. I might go back and buy them and put them on e-bay. I would have bought a 7 ft h or mh if they had one.

Went to the gander here.
First, about 8 people were left outside waiting for doors to open. Every employee was standing in front of door for soom pep talk or something. Anyway, got in and went to poles.3 Primers...$129 apiece. Asked manager about a 'rod' sale, specifically Croixs. Looked at me and said, I got a dozen or two Triumphs for $79.00 a piece. So I went shoe shopping....THERE! Craziest River Town baitshop I've ever seen.

Sorry Joe. I went to another Gander today and their St Croix's weren't marked down either. Their PG Carrot Stix were $89 though. I guess every store has the power of setting all their own discount prices. I did get some horny toads and a XCalibur Xr50 for 1/2 price.
