				 | Cold weather and frozen pipes

Thank goodness the arctic blast is over. My cold and hot water lines to the second floor froze the other night. I can't get to them as they are in an outside wall. Only have access to about a foot in the cellar. Turned the heat up to 80 and aimed a hair dryer at them in the cellar. That worked. Going up to the fifties this weekend. If there wasn't ice on my fishing spot I'd go since my back feels a little better. Tough trying to keep the truck clean driving around with all the salt and snow melting on to the roads. Just hope there's no repeat of that nasty cold.

The hot water lines going to my bathroom, the guest bathroom sink, and the tub there froze the other night. Our tub worked fine, as did the kitchen sink. And none of the cold water was affected, just the hot. Interesting......
