				 | Another prayer request

I hate to report it is for me. To keep this short, I had a stress test last Monday. My doc sent me to Knoxville to have a stent put in last Thursday. He started the procedure then stopped. He told me he was turning me over to a heart surgeon. As it turns out, all four coronary arteries are between 70% and 90% blocked and the main artery is 100% blocked. So, the old thumper is operating off 20% or 30% secondary circulation. Cardiologist call this condition "The Widow Maker". It seldom has any symptoms and is pretty much 100% fatal. They have to be guided by God and find it early or they find it in the autopsy. So my surgery is set for 10:30 this morning and I need to be there no later than 7:30. We get a call at 4:30 telling us my surgery has been cancelled for today and we need to call the doc's office at 9:00 to reschedule. WTH? After several rounds of phone tag my wife talks to the woman in charge at the office. Turns out the doc got called in last night late for a emergency surgery and didn't get finished until almost 5:00. He didn't want to do mine going on nearly 30 hours with no sleep. (Thank GOD) So, my surgery is now scheduled for this Friday (March 14th) at 7:30 a.m.. This can go from rough to a disaster in a heart beat (or lack of one) real quick. I hope to get started healing fast. The boat and lake have been calling my name all winter. Thanks all!
