				 | Finally Placed

Well it's been a long time coming. Fished the weekly local tourney and finally got a third place finish. This tourney has been a disaster for me. When I do good something usually goes wrong. When I do bad, it's chaotic. One night 9 fish, all legal. Took the best 5 about 10-11 pounds, the storm started and never quit. Got to the dock and one of the locals says " With weather like this we usually call it a wash and carry everything over to next week." So like a dummy, threw out the fish. Another guy drives up and says " Slow night, probably got 4-5 pounds to weigh". He won. So now I will not listen to anyone but the guy running things. So this week, kinda slow....... Caught one 18 1/2 inches, another at 24 inches and 3rd at 23 inches, got last one on the way in 15 inches. Was pretty stoked on the way in. Got beat on big bass- guy had a hawg, he also won with 14 pounds, 2nd place was 12 and change, 3rd 12 and change- actually .4 oz below 2nd. Wasn't a win but 3rd was better than nothing. No money because of small turnout, but hey braggin rights are okay also. Did this in 2 1/2 hours. Thought about it later, should have used these as my entry here.

Just check your area baitshops and lakes for any info. This tourney is just a little local one, usually 10-20 boats- sometimes as few as 5-7. Its a start, gets you into the timed portion of fishing.
