not to mention a few hundred more cuss words..i was shooting my hand cannon-500s&w- after 10-12 rounds right handed i switched to my weaker left hand i fired once and thought i had a bad hold, i tighten up and shot the second time. i tore a muscel in my hand/wrist area. my hand is all swelled up and hurts like mad-even with vikadins- i have no strenth in my hand and can't close my fingers into a fist..it took me roughly 2 hours- a very painfull 2 hours- just to get the shooting gautlet off-it is nearly impossable to shoot that gun with out gloves- so i took to day off in hopes i could get the swelling down. typing right handed only sucks you know...

put some ice on that wrist for twenty minutes and reaply a few other times then switch to heat, if that doesn't do anything ya may have to wrap it up or see the doc

seen the doc he said "umm stop shooting that thing" well big suprise..and to not use hand fer acouple a days..

Sh$t Zooker! I'm not even that CRAZY to load and fire them through a hand cannon! I was a gun fanatic for quit a few years and even did some of my own reloads.
Take care of the wrist, dude. Your one squirrle with big nuts!! LOL

Those 440 grain bullets ain't no joke. I became a S&W firearms instructor last year. When I was up in Mass. we heard stories of the folks there at the manufacturing plant that were getting injured firing that load. One ol' boy "limp wristed" the 500 and it came up and kicked him right in the forehead and gave his azz 12 stitches to remember him by. I shot the 440 grain and let me tell you.......it ain't no joke. Your a good man, you firing 10-12 rounds.

nah actually am thinking or selling that beast got a buyer lined up. still got the rifle that chunks those large chunks of lead..

Back when the 44 mag came out, everyone had to have one. It ended up being the least fired and most traded handgun in history. I think the 500 is going to surpass the 44 on both accounts. My 460 revolver is all
the punishment i want.

You right buddy on all accounts. Zook aint gonna give up. It aint in his vocabulary. Hell people thought I was nuts when I owned a 454 casull. Havent shot the 500 and dont think I will. Used to have 2 other sideguns the desert eagle and the ruger super redhawk in 45 long colt. I beleive that zook's thought is"If ya gonna do it do it big" Am I right buddy??
