i'll catch just as many fish on my pflueger reels and have just as much fun doing it.there is a disease running rampant through society and the fishing world that says you must spend retarded amounts of money for a product to be any good.the sad thing is people fall for it.that reel better find the fish and auto reel them in after it told you what lure to use for what it costs.

In a way I agree. I would personally not spend that much money on a reel, but coming from Daiwa, I don't know what to think. I have had one of their low, low end spinning reels for 5+ years, without a single problem, so I would imagine that reel to be very durable. I love all my Daiwas, Quantums, and especially Pfleugers.

I can't imagine it being better than My TD-Z , but what do I know.I am glad to finally see you guys start to like Daiwa reels. You could have saved alot of money by buying them years ago, when I endlessly bragged their products up .You weren't listening then, but I still took the time to type post after post anyway. Now I feel they are over priced, going to look at the Abu Garcias revo reels. They will be priced reduced soon. You will be hard pressed to find a Daiwa reel with a reduced price, unless to go to Ebay and then that isn't a real savings unless you buy a used reel. P N J
