Not any more They no longer to my knowledge make them in Green Pumpkin(it's my favorite) or Blue Fleck. They are only making them in about 4 colors last I checked. You might wanna try ebay, or www.wackyworm.com Those are the last place I bought any from. They are still my alltime favorite worm(actually the 6" that they don't even make any longer). Folks just must have looked at them and thought they weren't any good. I tell ya the flat out catch fish

I've got about 20 rods in the boat, all with something different tied on, although there are no soft plastcs-just the hooks. You name it and I either have it or something similar ready to go.

With two rods, I've got a Black/Blue Jig w/ Zoom super chunk (blue) and a white/chartreuse single colorado blade spinnerbait.

And more ready to tie on.

Swimbaits and plastics, I don't have any waky rigged senkos (gay senkos), they don't get big fish. I have some straight senkos, like for the carolina rig.

1. white spinnerbait with a single blade (#6 colorado, hammered and silver).

2. 1/4 oz. rattle trap silver with a black back.

3.rattling rogue jerkbait black and gold.

4. dropshot with a 4 in. senko, forgot what color and i don't want to go to the garage to look.

p.s. jooleyen, in cold water real pork seems to work better than a soft plastic chunk. for me anyways, just thought i might suggest that.

On my ultralite spinning rod I have a small, AC Shiner like balsa jerkbait.

My large baitcaster has a chartruse fluke with a split shot about 10 inches up the line. Might change the color on that, and its a little light for the rod.

Flippin stick has a 8 inch red shad worm on a 4/0 hook.

And my Garcia Power 4 reel will have a crankbait tied on before my next outing. Might try a timber tiger, throw it through brush if we get a warm day.

My gear is still in a good bit of flux right now though. If you remember I lost my number 1 combo to the river last month and that has create a changing of my whole starting lineup. I do have a BPS Extreme Lite reel coming in a day or so and I will go match that to a rod in person at a shop, so maybe things will settle down.

Thanks carolina rig. I would get some real pork chunks, but I probably won't get another chance to fish this winter. Plus shore fishing sucks. Especially in the winter. Me and my dad are tearing up the boat and repairing it. It's going to be pimped. I'm excited.

Jb can tell you , its a color thing in the spring time.At least it is in the East. You really should look for at least 1 Red colored rattle trap. What I am looking for is a Bill Lewis Rat L Trap in the color chrome Red.I cannot find anyone here that sells that color and you can't buy direct from Bill Lewis website. P N J

Weather (see: Wind) permitting, I will carry 8-12 rods TOMORROW (of which 2-4 may not be used.)

To see action, for certain:

St.Croix Avid MH66F, Diawa Viento, #30 Yellow TUFline, fluoro leader, 1/8 oz Tungsten weight, with Peg-It, 3/0 Gamakatsu Red EWG OR 4/0 G-lock. ZOOM U-tail in Smokin'Blue. Watermelonseed, or WatermelonBlueflake.

St.Croix ML69XF, Chronarch 50MG, #20 Yellow TUFline, 6-8' fluoro leader, 2/0 Gamakatsu Weedless Finesse Hook, 3/16-1/4 oz dropshot weight, ZOOM Finesse Worm Smokin' Blue, WatermelonRed, Pumpkinseed, or Baby Bass.

Falcon LowRider 5-167 "Weightless Worm" model, Chronarch 50MG, #20 Yellow TUFline, fluoro leader, Gamakatsu `1/0 Weedless Finesse Hook, 4" Senko, 4" YUM Dinger, 4" Kinami, or 4" Tikii Stik, in Red Shad, Baby Bass, WatermelonChartreuse, or ???

Falcon LowRider 5-167 as above, but the SPINNING model, with a Quantum Response TiMag, #20 Yellow TUFline, fluoro leader, 1/16-1/8 weedless jig, 3" Kalin Grub in Smoke Pepper, BlueGill, or Crystal Ice.

TeamAllStar 785C (6-6 med), Chonarch 50MG, #20 Yellow TUFline, fluoro leader, 1/16 lead bullet weight, with Peg-It, 2/0 G-lock, 4" Dead Ringer OR Berkley Power Worm in color chosen based on light penetration encountered at the time.

Kistler Helium LTA 7' Heavy, Shimano Castaic, #30 Yellow TUFline, fluoro leader, 1/2-3/4 oz jig, Watermelon, with YUM Wooly Hawg Tail trailer.

Castaway 7' M, Saltwater model, Quantum Response TiMag SPINNING reel, #30 Yellow TUFline, fluoro leader, 3/0 Gamakatsu EWG or 4/0 G-lock, 5" T-rigged Tiki Stik, Senko, or DUMYinger. (Or Wackified with 2/0 Gamakatsu Weedless Finesse.)

Falcon 5-17, BPS Extreme 7:1 (see footnote), #12 P-Line Floroclear, either 'Trap or Rattlin' Rap in Chrome Blue, Firered/Chartreuse tummy, or perhaps a Deep N.

TeamAllstar 785C, "Rado 200B w/wiffle spool conversion, #10 P-line CX, smaller cranks (Bandits, etc) and small T/Waters. Secondary mission for 4" worms and 1/8-3/16 Bitsy Bug Jigs,

Others include a dedicated Super Spook rig, light spin rig, Falcon Carolina Lizard Dragger, etc.

Footnote: Bought the 7:1 Extreme on sale for 44.88 (+TTL) to see if I like that ratio for 'Traps, ZZZZZZZZZbaits, and Ribbits. If I do, I'll upgrade to the new REVO SX 7:1 or similar UNDER 9 oz in weight.

Does THAT answer yer inquiry?
