Quantum Accurist 2 and pp 10/40 w 7ft. mh rod

I have 4 of these reels 3 -7ft mh rods - 1 6ft 6 mh (all Falcons) I use Suffix Siege 17lb. only on the 6'6" for spinnerbaits and pp 10/40 on everything else (7'ers) for worms,traps, jigs etc. No problems for 2 yrs. Am I the only one who uses these reels?

I doubt it, I'm sure you're not alone using them. From what I hear, they are supposed to be pretty good reels. I never had one myself, I'm a Shimano user, but if you feel confident with your equipment, that's all that matters in the long run. Welcome to the site too, by the way.

I have a friend that has a few of the accurist 2's and I have to say,they are very good! I like them alot. What Falcon rod series do you have? I have a Lowrider,I like it alot.

Yep, that is unless you are letting someone else use your reels and rods. And if so I would think you would know that

I've texas rigged with an accurist one for 5 or 6 years now, just picked up a '2' on clearance at Dick's Saturday, don't have a use for it, but it's a nice pretty red spare

Hey Skeeter944. My Falcons are all originals. I've had them forever and 2 days. They fit my hand.

They are nice rods,I like them. I might get a few caras sometime just to try out falcons top of the line series.
