2.95 here, but that was yesterday. I swore I'd quit smoking when cigs got to be over 99cent and I'd quit driving when gas went over 1.75. Both are at 3.00 (I smoke the cheepies..now)....I drove to get some gas and smokes yesterday. I have no will power.

Jumped up today from $2.89 to $3.01
 Someone explain why the price per barrel closed $10 per barrel lower than last year and the price per gallon is more expensive??? |

I was in the mountains of New Mexico last week and the gas there was 3.69 for the cheap stuff. Diesel was 3.49. Fortunately I filled up before I got up there and didn't have to pay that price.
