Saturday Report

Headed out at 7am too a two cream in your coffee river. Water temps dropped 5 degrees in the last three days so I knew fishing may be tough. Well it was, but we had some bright moments. Two nice hookups lost a minute into battle. Two young flatheads about 5 and 6 pounds where caught today. It has been 7 years since I have caught one. Bullheads and white channels also. But nothing over ten pounds all day..

"Dinks in the spread was the call of the day" and it cost a lot of bait.

Got one nice striper in my fridge too.

Was the coffee just in the main river or creeks too?? Getting out tomorrow for a little fishing.

It's alright. Got out and found bass on the marsh bank I wanted to fish. 4.6lbs was big fish out of the couple we weighed today. Missed two more. Could have made a run at the money but just couldn't execute like we needed to. Next time I won't try to flip the bass into the boat when my partner has the net .
