My 3 year old is having a blast fishing w/ pops. His patience is about an hour so we don't go far on the lake, but I've got a couple of money spots that keep his interest with alot of activity. Here's his largest bluegill caught with a nightcrawler on his trusty lightning McQueen rod/reel set.

Nice blue gil. I hope he keeps his interest and wants to stay out on the lake longer. Nothing beats the look in their eyes when that bobber disappears. Total shock.

Oops. I am so sorry. Fixed it. And you used "his" a couple of times in your post. In my defense, I was thinking about my little girl when I was typing my post.

He's already got his own tackle box, complete with several varieties of plastics (no hooks). He likes to fish a plastic crawfish on his bobber for 'fun' and it gives him good practice. He can cast consitently 10' to 15' which amazes me.
