				 | Good times!

So Sunday,my Mom wanted the family to go fishing....Which is great cause I happen to fancy a little fish'n I was also excited cause my wife and stepdaughter got to come as well... I usually fish extremely early in the morning and they sleep in. Anyway,I suggested a nice city park by our house...Huge pond with two piers,pavillion,playground.....and always secluded ...Ive never had any luck there, but I know theres some pigs and plenty of sunfish swimming around. Everyone, but my Dad and I, were using bobbers and worms...Within minutes my Aunt caught a 1/2 bass and got us all excited..The fishing was actually kind of slow starting. I tried explaining to my sister that she would hit a mess of sunfish if she would throw the bobber next to the pier...But she would stand on the pier and cast 20ft away from it .... Finally my stepdaughter was ready to fish after a good warm up on the playground...I rigged her barbie pole and my wife's rod up and put them on the pier and told them where to drop thier bobbers......game on! My wife and step daughter were ripping out bluegills and perch like champions...In fact,it was so consistant, that I didnt get to fish much at all because I was too busy taking off fish and re-baiting hooks...My hands smelled awesome I think between the two of them they caught close to 20 fish off that little pier My wife was feeling bad cause I wasnt getting to fish..lol..I told her it was more fun watching them fish...especially standing over Emily and her Barbie rod saying ''wait''.....''wait''.....ok,GO!!...hahaha!.. I did manage to get a pic of one of the bigger bluegills she caught..Some of them were just good looking fish!..I was so proud when she actually lipped one and threw it back...lol...Good times!

Gotta love the smile on your daughters face Waffle. I would be smiling just the same if I caught a bluegill that big. Family is what it's all about.

That is awesome Waffle, That is what it's all about dude. Sounds like a great time was had by all, and there is nothing like seeing kids enjoy the outdoors like that. It also sounds like that park is perfect for taking kids fishing, they get bored with fishing they can go play on the playground a while. Well done Sir! Great pic too by the way.
