| First Day Yahoo We got out and it was a great day even if we didn't catch fish. On the water at 7:30am and off at 7:30pm wamted to stay longer but had to drive 2&1/2 hours home. We boated 70-80 smallmouth bass + 10 northern pike and 10+ walleyes. Fish were tight to the bottom and only afew fish in shallow water. Water temps were 41 degree at one area and 47 at a shallower end. Most fish 20 + feet. Average small mouth @ 2+1/2 pounds. Biggest walleye that I have seen in a long time 34+ inches . Our board only went that long. Off the board. Cold and wind all day but a great day. Can't wait to get out again. Coldbasser Pics to come if I can get them posted! |

Nice job cb! Glad you were able to get out. How far from Winnipeg do you go to fish? As for the pictures, use www.photobucket.com and load them there and bring them over to here (using the "insert image") |

Wow, that sounds like a day beyond my wildest dreams, CB. Congrats! Like MIbasser said, I too use photobucket. I upload my pictures there, and then I just post the "IMG code" here. After you have uploaded a picture on photobucket, you can "hover" your cursor over the picture and 4 "sharing" options will pop-up, the last of which is the IMG code. If you just click on that code, it will automatically copy it for you. Then I just come over here and paste it by using CTRL-V to do the paste. Here is what the image code looks like except I manually inserted a space before and after the jpg part near the end so it won't show up as a picture here. I added the spaces after I pasted the full IMG code here. If I just paste it here without changing anything, then this is what shows up in my message instead. |

 | First day Yahoo Thanks for the help in posting pics. Check out the suit that I'm wearing its a StrikeMaster Ice Fishing suit, wore it all day as it was cold but catching fish somehow warms you up. As said these were about average for the day. We were fishing Shoal Lake 2.5 hours from Winnipeg Thanks Again |

Hey CB, there you go, nice pics!!!! Those must have been an absolute blast to catch. Looking forward to the report and set of pics from your next outing. WB P.S. - Thanks, Bob. That was a 4-pounder from back in October of 2008, the first year I ever caught one that big. Hopefully I can catch one or two like that this year to post. |
