Decided to make something this weekend.
Could not buy what I wanted so used some scratch pieces to make a custom shadowbox for some old lures.

Very cool. I've been thinking about making a display box for a few very special lures I have.

The frame material was left over from framing all the bathroom mirrors in my house. The glass was from an 8 x 10 frame. The box pieces were from a heavy wood entertainment center I had disassembled. The back piece was also from the entertainment center. All I purchased was the 1/4" x 1 1/4" strips from Lowes and the paint. I just got in me head what I wanted to build and tried to use what I had available. The electric miter saw & electric screwdriver for pilot holes really helped.
