				 | funky blade

i have seen 1000's of differant spinner baits. it takes some thing out of the ordinary to get my interst. as i was seeing what was new at my second home.-hwy 49- this strange bait caught my eye. it is odd enough to make me buy several of them. it is rigged with a single chrome colorado blade-which is subject to change- but the odd thing is a buzzer type blade filled with bb's on the arm.. it is called a turbo rattler.. it looks differant than any other blade bait i have seen.. zooker

Yup, I've seen something like that. It was called the Clacker, I believe shoestring dubois makes it. It might have had two chrome colorado's though.

Zooker, its a new twist to an old idea, kinda like that tornado blade and many others, I think You'll notice a bubble trail if you burn that blade bait right under the surface...its kinda nice after you make repeated cast, some bubbles will linger in the path you just threw the bait in... I bet it doesn't work . but hope you prove me wrong! Attachment 246 Last edited by JB; 03-28-06 at 07:34 AM. |

That was it... the tornado blade. I had one, but I lost it when my tackle got stolen a few years ago. Had it not been for zook, I wouldn't have much of anything right now.

all righty then.. i tested the turbo spinner to night in fairly clean water. jb your dead wrong i found that the rattler cage did not make it climb any more than regular colorado blade. it also did not leave a bubble trail.. i was slow rolling it. hit a laydown and had a hit but it was a tad short-long skirt- it seemed to go thru dead weeds fairly well.. am hoping to play with it some more.. very good quality blade i was totally impressed with the over all performance of it.. the biggest suprise was it did not pull harder through the water than i thought it would.. zooker
