Got a Buzz!
Had a friend invite me to go fish a private lake yesterday afternoon. The conditions were optimal for topwater fishing so I tried several different things:
Tried a Pop-R first working it pretty slowly. Got 1 little dink off of this after fishing it about 30 minutes and figures I would try something else. Digging through the box I found a Chartreuse and White buzz bait, It has prolly been about 4-5 years since I threw a buzzbait. WOW! I was getting a bite almost everycast, but being that it has been so long since I fished a buzzbait I missed a lot of hook sets. I caught about 20 fish in about a 2 hour period and had one of the best fishing action in quite a while! |
