Default Yellow Magic Fans

Is this this true?
Are you swapping hooks on a $18-$20 lure?
If so, what are you using? As mentioned, especially the rear feathered hook?

Great Bait, Terrible Hooks,
September 30, 2011

By P0932 (read all my reviews)

Advantages: Ease of use, Style/Design, Performs well, Quality, durable finish
Disadvantages: terrible hooks

"I absolutely love Yellow Magic baits. They are the best popper that I have ever used. Spits exactly like a popper should. They do have one issue however. They use absolutely the cheapest hooks on the market. Be prepared to change the hooks. If you don't you will eventually lose a fish because the hooks break just like I did on the first fish. Fortunately I had replacements. It would be extremely nice to get Premium hooks on a Premium bait. Not only that, it is difficult to find rear hooks that have feathers as nice as the original."
