My first Tarpon

Was on vacation in St Pete beach, Fla and for the second year took a guide out for snook, needless to say no snook again. Did get a lot of sea trout and had two shots at a black tip shark and missed. Did catch a few spanish mackeral also first for me. Most fish were caught on either a zara spook or a paddle tail grub, while dock fishing we came across a school of tarpon. We spotted one over a 100 pounds but like always I hook up a smaller one in the 20 pound class. Great fight and I am hooked on Tarpon now. The guide is holding my catch and I am in the background.
