I dislike cold fronts
Fished today for 8.5 hours, after a cold front came through yesterday and today. The wind was about 20 mph all day long to boot. I went to a little pond, approx 5 acres. It was 18' at the deepest I threw cranks(caught 1 dink on a Bomber B crawdad color), spinners, c-rig, weightless, drop shot, t-rigged(caught 3, 2 dinks and a 14" on Baby Paca Craw, greenpumpkin), topwater, jerkbaits. I sight fished for about 2 hours on 3 monsters, but they wouldn't even look at my bait(it was tough with the wind mind you ). I missed one other bite, and hooked into what felt like a nice fish, only to have it immediately wrap me on a tree and get loose. I can tell you I worked my a@@ off all day just to get those six bites. Felt good to go fishing, but it was actually cold on the water, with the wind and temps . So for all of you who whine about not catching fish for going out for a couple of hours, I have absolutely no sympathy. Fish hard, and have fun no matter the results.Lizards
