Iron Silk - Yuk!!!!
I have 8 spools of Iron Silk from last year and every one of them is crap!
You put it on the reel and it's fine for the first week. After a while the line degrades to a 1/2 lb. test strength when you draw done the knot and pops. Berkley would not exchange the line for better line without a receipt and who the h*** keeps a receipt for line that's six months old?  I'm rethinking my loyalty to Berkley and will stay with Power Pro and switch to Trilene and another company for f/c. |
