Just started
So there i was, taking my kids to fish the stocked drainage ponds in my development. They through out some corn or cheese and catch a bluegill about every 30 seconds and love it. I usually just throw out a line to keep from getting bored. Next thing you know I'm reeling in a bluegill that's actually fighting a bit. Turns out it was a 8in bass. Now I'm exited that there are real fish in there so I go get a jitterbug (my ponds have to much growth to use anything that doesn't float) and I'm catching a good amount of 14-20 inchers. Yesterday I spend 4 hours at the pond a get home waiting to get yelled at by my wife. Her only complaint is that I didn't bring any home for her to cook (development is catch and release only). Well you don't gotta tell me twice. Only problem is that I have NO IDEA how to gut, skin, prep or cook a fish. Long story short, anyone know of any good resources to start with? Thanks.
