the fish must not know its a full moon!

After a good week of nice fish, today it seemed they had lockjaw! I got one on the jig, punkin skirt, 1/8th ounce, with a power trailer(punkin).
Got in some timber and a *dink* hit it. Other than that I spent most of the afternoon throwing that white spinnerbait and rattletrap, all they caught was moss lol.
Water temp was cold and smelled acidic, probably in high 50's, air temp 45 with a 10mph wind, and very overcast. I am thinking that the fish must have been buried up in the vegetation, off the flats. I tried some slow moving baits but after about 4000 casts, I headed the Jeep home ..maybe tomorrow will be better.
