New Setup
Yesterday I finally got that Pflueger President w/ Crucial 7' H.
I have been casting it, and for some reason, it isn't casting far at all. Not even 20 yards. I've been casting a jig with #30 braid, and my tension knob is loose. I don't understand how to set the centrifugal braking system under the side plate of the reel. Is that what it's called? Oh, and it feels sooo good to reel. It's the smoothest reel I've ever felt. The rod is also very sensitive. It is kinda wierd to get used to casting with a stout rod. It feels like I'm gonna break it when I cast. Is it normal to feel like that?
