You can see my father with this 7.05 lber, it was 23"L X 16" G The other pics are of the 23.5" L X 16" G I caught before he got there. Weather was cold, never saw the sun, and there was a 100+ boat tourney going on today. I talked to about 15 boats and the best anyone had was 2ea 2lbers, all the rest of them had 0. I also talked to the DNR Officer LOL.(checked my license, and busted the boat going around me for not having one) He said I should've sold it to one of the tourney guys. Anyways the water temps were 60 degrees. I got to the ramp at 8am, launched and was fishing by 8:15am. I was attempting to prefish for tomorrow's buddy tourney me and my partner are fishing in. I fished till 11:30am with one bite, and that was my new PB mudfish Probably 10lbs. My dad called me at 11:30am and said he was coming out and bringing his regular(shiners) and would be there at 1pm. So I caught this girl, and 2 other 2lbers in that 1.5 hrs. I then picked him up and took him to the area I caught the little girl, and within 30 minutes he had caught his within 50 yards of where I caught mine. That was it for bass for the day. I did catch a sunny on a c-rig pulse worm later, and we also caught a couple more mudfish on shiners LOL. It was a cold and dreary day, but boy was it fun I doubt I'll catch that kinda of fish tomorrow in the tourney with this cold front we just got hit with, but I'll be trying to beat it anyways. Hope everyone else gets out this weekend. And yes zooker this was part of the St John's river Lizards
