Secret Pond Report
Last night ten members of CCA So MD where treated to a private pond fishing evening. The pond about three acres small was covered with tiny little lilly pads about ten feet out from shore. Lots of downed trees and about twelve feet deep. I got about twelve bass from 6pm till 10:30 pm and the biggest was an honest seven pounds.
Top round beef was cooked along with frosty beverages with ten anglers fishing the shore line netted a total of 112 bass. Many over five pounds and all as black as night. At the golden hour I got four in row in four casts on a Splash-it II .. This place is so secret that we had to go thru three locked gates to get to it. Next year I will bring my pontoon boat.. If we are invited again. Sorry no pics.. It is so secret they took our cameras away.. Capt Mike
