Found 86-87 degree water temps around the 208 bridge. Fished the backs of a couple small creeks and worked my way out. Caught or missed some 8-10" bass on crankbait, topwater, and pnj. Little guys were smacking the RICO as soon as it hit the water or very shortly after. A lot of hits on the Fat CB too. One picked up the Spring Craw and wrapped me around a dock piling. I saw him and didn't set the hook.
T-storms expected tonight so I may or may not get back out. Will probably run up lake a little ways and see what's biting and figure out where the better fish are hiding ![]() |
