Just thought I'd post a pic of my wife's first Bass she caught. A real hawg for the pond we were fishing. She was right around 4 Lbs. or so. I know she is holding it away from her (I tried to get her to hold her closer, but she is scared of fish) but for scale reference, my wife is only 4'11". Anyway, now she sees why I spend so much time after the critters. The pond is my Grandparents' and hardly ever sees any fishing action. I personally had not fished it in almost 20 years, and my cousins only fish it a few times a year if that. No real monsters, but the action is fast and furious. Altogether we counted coup (old indian expression to mean defeating an enemy, usually only required touching the enemy) on about 30 fish in a little over an hour.
