Hi,
Today I got up and left for a nearby farm pond at about 6:30am. When I got there, fish were jumping like crazy all over the place. Well I thought an obvious choice was to use my trusty ole Scum Frog Popper near they were jumping. Well, two hours and ony one 4lb. bass later (which wasn't a bad fish at all) I gave up on topwater and switched to a plastic worm jigged over a large weed bed. After that I started pullin' 'em in one after the other. I had been out for 3 hours and had caught 6 bass and a snapping turtle (I hate those things). After a while without a bite I decided I'd cast one more time and go home. I casted out and WHAM!!!, ![]() I'm also happy to say I set him free and he swam away unharmed. ![]() -Eric This has nothing to do with today's trip but, I posted my biggest of '07, so why not my smallest too? ![]()
