Earlier this year I caught the same 10lbs hawg twice in the same week. I was ecstatic to say the least. Ever since then I feel like I've been cursed. I think I've caught about 8-12 fish since late Feb when I caught the hawg, mostly dinks, nothing over 2-3 lbs. . I haven't been able to get out on the water near as much, when I do my outings seem like they're jinxed or cut short for some reason or another. I plan to get out on the water before sun-up but don't get to the lake until 10-11am (because of lifes responsibilities, sure sucks being an adult
![]() My favorite lake to fish was closed last year. On a good day I got sick of catching so many fish, on a bad day I'd catch 5-10 keepers. I could go there any time under any conditions and find what the fish wanted within an hour. US Forestry service ended up closing down the dirt trails that led to that lake and can no longer get there. I think I'm gonna get a new hobby, maybe dynamite or 240v, one of those should put me on the fish. Oh well, guess it could be worse, I could live up north and not be able to fish 12 months out of the year ![]()
