Yesterday is was bluegill fishing thru the ice in a gin clear lake and was watching how the fish react to my bait. A few of my poles were rigged with different fluocarbons same pound test (4lb)and 2 rods were plain mono also 4lb test.
I could not tell any difference looking through the camera between the fluocarbon and the mono. My question is does my camera see what the fish does?from what I see fluocarbon line is not nearly invisible it was just as visible as mono at 25 feet. The 2 fluocarbons I was using were Yo-zuri and Seaguar Invis X. One more thing I found out is the Berkly cyrstal 2lb was even more visible than all of them. Are there any Independent studies out there that I could read to help me on making better choices when Im looking for a truly good fluocarbon line? Last edited by chubs; 02-04-08 at 05:22 PM.
