The Best Salesman Ever?

A young man moves from Wisconsin to Cleveland, OH. He goes to a big everything under one roof department stores looking for a job.

The boss asks if he has any sales experience, and he says yes that he was a salesman back in Wisconsin. After the interview, the guy gets the job.

He reports for work at 8:00 the next morning and at the end of the day, the boss comes and asks him, "how many sales did you make today?"

He replies, "one."

The boss looks at him very surprised and says, "Only one? If you want to keep your job here, you'll have to make more sales, our salespeople average 20 to 30 sales a day. How much was your sale for?"

"$101,625.73"

"101,625.73?! What the heck did you sell him?!"

I told him He'd need a boat, so we went down to the boat department and he bought a boat. Then he told me he didn't think his Honda Civic would pull his new boat, so we headed to auto department and he baught a new truck."

The boss looked at him stunned and said, "A guy came in here to buy a fish hook and you sold him a rod, reel, boat, and a new truck?!"

The young salesman smiled and said, "no, he came in here to buy tampons for his wife, and I said, 'well dude, your weekend's shot, you should go fishing'"
