Default Once upon a time

Once upon a time many years ago I was invited to fish perhaps one best fisheries available on the east coast. The Val Halo of striper called CBBT (Cheasapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel) is 17 miles of pilings riprap and two under ground tubes piled over with giant rock. One high rise and a grand total 14,000 cement pilings. That year was a banner year for 40 inch plus convict bass on light tackle. We arrive at dawn and launch boat off of trailer. A frost covered the ramp and docks and it was slippery. There where four of us that day in a small but capible boat. The owner proceeds to crank the engine and it does not start. Quickly two of the guys took over trying to get the Yammy started but it would not even sputter. I stood back watched from a safe distance as tempers flared and ideas formed as to issue and cause. They pulled the gas line and drained the carb. They pulled a plug and cranked the engine claiming to have seen a spark. They went over every conceavable scenaro and continued to curse at each other. They gave up and decided to put the boat back on trailer and drive home 6 hours defeated.

I asked if I might try.. the owner said have at it.

I got in the boat and asked the owner where his kill lanyard was since it was missing. Pics from the day.
