Question Fall spawn and when to start hitting the ponds hard again

So when does the bite pick back up in the fall? I think it depends on the water temperature for the fish to spawn again (if I remember correctly from reading some threads on here). But I am not one to keep track of the water temperature for now so I am looking for an "average" or rough time frame that it begins. I am in Alabama so anyone with some experience due to years past in this area, would you guys give me a rough time as to when the fall spawn typically happens?
