Ok, I recently purchased a 4GB Toshiba SD memory card for my Cannon camera. I took a few pictures on it and went to put them on my computer. Our computer has a memory card reader, so I used that like I normally do. Well, when I put the memory card in the computer, nothing happened. Normally a window pops up giving me options to import, views, etc.
Since I'm not completely computer impaired, I was going to get to the info through My Computer (cause it shows the removable drives) Well, it didn't even recognize the card was there, and was showing that no storage device was hooked up. Yet the light that comes on on the card reader is on, it turns on when you put a card in. Any ideas? Suggestions? My old memory card still works, but just not the new one. Is it the memory card, computer? Do I have to do something with it so the computer will recognize it. Thanks, BB
